Custom Screen Printing Grand Rapids Mi

If you’re getting hoodies printed, it might be a good time to add a few button down dress shirts, t-shirts, and polos.  Many times all can be custom screen printed at the same time.  Now, you’ve got a full closet and ready for whatever the weather or the occasion requires!

It’s A Billboard, Not Just A T-Shirt!

This Space For Sale T-Shirt

We like to think the back of a t-shirt is a great location for your advertisement.  Wow!  We need a “This Space For Sale” T-Shirt!  Here’s how it looks.  Yeh, it’s big!  I wanted to make sure people could read it from far…far…away!  The front is blank.

Hipsters Using Hip-Stars on Custom T-Shirts!

Stars on the side of custom screen printed t-shirts Ad-America

Normally, we print the front and backs of shirts.  Sometimes, somebody wants the sleeves printed.  But, now, we’re just as likely to print the side of the shirt.  These are a bunch of shirts we printed for a non-profit group.  The double-lined stars were printed with turquoise ink on the side of the lime colored shirts.  Pretty cool color combo…They really pop out nice don’t they?

Have You Seen Me In A Sports Bra?

No. And it won’t happen today either. But we’re putting logos on sports bras, and I must say, they look very nice. Often times we take photos of projects we’re working on, or actually wear…i.e….”model” the garment we’ve just printed, and then photograph it as a record for the job file, or post on the web. Not so much in this case. One, the client wants to keep this project quiet. Two, well…I just don’t model bras. >wink<

The Printed Pen That Was Worth $100K!

Today a customer came in to place an order for a variety of projects, but one in particular…”Identification Stickers”. As it turns out, they had had a rather expensive piece of equipment stolen from one of their properties. I’m talking $100,000 plus. I won’t go in to details, but we’re looking at some pretty high end quipment here! Police had no suspects, but a while later, in another county up north, a police raid on a meth lab turned up some rather unique equipment. Who did it belong to?

Police noticed an imprinted pen with our client’s name and phone number along with the equipment. They called our customer asking if they were missing anything. BINGO! The cops get their guy, and our customer gets his equipment!

In another incident, equipment was stolen that had ID stickers on them, but the stickers had been removed. Turns out the information on the sticker had left a sun-fade imprint on the equipment. Even with the stickers removed, the cops were able to read the information well enough to track down the rightful owners. Good guys -2- Bad guys Zero!

If you’ve got equipment that needs to stay ‘in the plant’ or ‘on the job site’, it may be time to consider identification stickers. Stickers can be so inexpensive, it pays to put one on your equipment where it can be seen, and another one hidden on the equipment where it can be located to prove proof of ownership.

Another Load of Sweatshirts Arrive!

Another load of sweatshirts arrive at Ad-America

While day temperatures in West Michigan have been hovering in the 70s, the night temps have been dropping to the 40s. That means cooler temps in the evenings and the need for sweatshirts! “Fleece” in the industry jargon. This semi arrived this morning at Ad-America to drop off a load of sweatshirts. Hey, we’d like to see this every morning! Now might be a good time to consider fleece products for your company or non-profit. I hear it’s still going to be cold in Michigan for a few months yet. The two most popular fleece products are “Hoodies” (hooded sweatshirts) and the standard crewneck sweatshirts. They both come in a variety of price points and weights of cotton, so you should be able to find a style that meets your quality and budget. If you’d like to talk options, just call and ask for Ingrid.

You Got To Love Those Sailors!

Imagine how honored you would feel if your fellow sailors thought enough of you to present you with a memento like this!  This ‘award’ was presented to a Chief Petty Officer honoring his service in Aviation Ordnance.  Ad-America assembled the components of the award; the nameplates, unit patch, and screen printed the brass nameplate with the Chief’s name, and the Navy’s three anchors to the dummy bomb.  Congrats and kudos to Chief Garcia!

We Never Get Tired of This!

Deer Near Ad-America Loading Dock

Things have been pretty busy at Ad-America lately, so we were going to print some shirts throughout the afternoon and evening.  When I opened the door to one of our our loading docks out back, it was pretty apparent someone else thought it was dinner time too!  This is one of four deer that routinely can be seen around our office.  A 3-legged mother deer, two fawns and a third young one.  Not sure if the third deer is part of this ‘family’ of deer or not.

FOX News Shows Marketing Savvy!

While FOX News reporter Kelly Wright was reporting on Whitney Houston, I couldn’t help but notice, and appreciate, that FOX News had their logo printed on the INSIDE of the umbrella so it reads right when viewed on TV. Of course, I would have suggested (and they may have done this) that they print the logo on one side on the outside, and then on the other side on the inside. Thus, it would work for different situations.

Ready For A Cruise?

This morning, I heard one of the Grand Rapids radio guys talking about heading to the airport. No doubt, going on another cruise! If you’re one of those lucky folks heading out of town for a “Cruise” or Spring Break, don’t forget to pack your favorite hoodie! They make great cover ups at the beach, and easy to zip up when you go in to a restaurant and don’t want to look to ‘beachy’. Companies like them too for employee uniforms. Even executives can wear them on the weekends! We can screen print your logo on the left chest and full back if you like. Embroidery is also an option. Hoodies come in different styles, colors, and fabric weights, which means, you’ll probably find one that fits your budget for your crew! (It’s snowing in Michigan right now. A cruise would be nice!) Oh, the poster? It’s currently on display in our Grand Rapids showroom.
